From "somebody looking for an apartment" to owners on the line
New Age Realty Group is a full-service property management and real estate company in Philadelphia, one of the toughest property management markets in the country. The company wanted to grow its owner base, and the marketing had to start carrying more of that load.
You could hear the problem on the phone line. In Tyler's words, when a call came in, 80% of the time it was somebody looking for an apartment to rent. Renters keep the leasing team busy, but a management company grows on property owners. Meanwhile, New Age had never cracked the top three of Google's map pack, which is where most Philadelphia owners start their search for a manager.
Goodjuju started with the foundation: a new website built to turn Philadelphia property owners into leads, then local SEO on top of it.
The SEO work went after the map pack and the owner-intent keywords, including the searches New Age's broker personally checks. Every website lead gets logged in a shared database along the way, so both teams can see how many property owners came in each month, form by form.
Tyler looked up the rankings himself and found New Age in the top three of Google's map pack for the first time ever. The site also shows up in the first eight to nine results for nearly every keyword their broker checks. His words on the call: "It's legitimately working."
The lead numbers back him up. In about six weeks from March, 20 leads came through the website's forms alone, most of them property owners, and that count doesn't include phone calls. Speaking of the phones, Tyler hopped on the phone group one day and took four to five owner and leasing calls on a line that used to run 80% renters.
"We're just slammed, which is a good thing. Good problems to have." That's Tyler on the quarterly call, describing an ordinary weekday at the office.
The work behind the map pack breakthrough
New website
A ground-up rebuild aimed at Philadelphia property owners. The site's forms produced 20 leads in a recent six-week stretch, most of them owners.
Local SEO
Owner-intent keyword targeting across Philadelphia. New Age now shows in the first 8–9 results for nearly every keyword their broker checks.
Map pack presence
Google Business Profile work that put New Age in the local map pack's top three for the first time in company history.
Lead tracking & reporting
Every website lead gets logged and reviewed together on quarterly calls, so both teams can point to the same numbers when they talk about what's working.

Straight from the quarterly call
Total transparency — we've been flooded with business recently. The leads we've been getting, managed and non-managed — I mean, we've been smashing our goals, which is really cool to see.
One of the big achievements we've been talking about: I looked this up, and we came up in the top three in the map pack for the first time ever. And that was really big. We show up nearly every single time in the first eight to nine results when looking up anything related — whatever keywords our broker wants to know. It's legitimately working, which is really nice to see.
We have phone groups here — everybody in leasing gets leasing calls, everybody in sales gets sales calls. Since I manage the department now, I hopped on the phone group with our business development associate. Typically, when we get a call here, I'd say 80% of the time it's somebody looking for an apartment to rent. Yesterday, I got four or five calls alone for management or leasing. We're just slammed — which is a good thing. Good problems to have, definitely.
